The Yeongwol Media Journalist Museum is made up of three exhibit halls, an outdoor exhibit area, and a pressroom in order to help youths properly understand the media. Visitors can not only see the history of newspapers in Korea, but also see and touch valuable goods that offer various attractions and having historical significance. The Journalist Museum is a learning space for family groups. Through the one-day journalist experience program, visitors can learn to understand the world of journalists, who are also known as 'Guardians of History', and the value of on-site coverage. The outdoor exhibit, which is used for special exhibits, is made up of photos by photo journalists around the nation taken in the past year to let youths and their families laugh and feel love for their neighbors and nature. Traces of the national education charter and children reading charter are other valuable cultural heritages that can be seen at the Yeongwol Media Journalist Museum. The Yeongwol Media Journalist Museum contains a place for learning in which visitors can make their own family newspaper and travel newspaper, giving it true meaning as a museum.
