태권도 정신으로 세상을 변하게 하라
본 발표는 태권도진흥재단의 설립 배경과 태권도원의 조성 과정 태권도의 세계화 현황을 고찰하며 국립태권도박물관이 태권도원에 설립된 이유와 역할에 대해 소개하고자 한다. 국립태권도박물관은 태권도 및 무예관련 자료를 통해 문화. 예술. 학문의 발전과 일반 대중들의 문화 향유 증진에 이바지 하기 위해 이에 관한 자료를 수집. 관리. 보존. 조사. 연구. 교육하는 태권도 전문박물관임과 태권도에 대한 이해와 체험의 구심점으로 태권도의 과거 현재를 이해하고 체험할 수 있도록 함과 태권도 역사 전시를 통해 심층적인 이해를 도모하고 태권도 관련 역사 자료와 유물에 대한 당위성 확보 태권도 종주국의 역할 정신에 대한 깊이 있는 내용을 연구 전달함으로 서 태권도의 가치 확산에 기여함을 본 발표에 설명하며 태권도인들이 꿈꿔왔던 공간인 태권도원과 국립태권도박물관을 소개하고자 한다.
Taekwondo, the Great Changer
This presentation introduces the background of Taekwondo Promotion Foundation and Taekwondowon and the globalization of Taekwondo, and this presentation also explain the reason why the National Taekwondo Museum was established in the Taekwondowon along with its role. The National Taekwondo Museum is a taekwondo museum dedicated to promote development of culture, arts, academics and culture of the public by collecting data regarding Taekwondo and martial arts. Also, the museum is dedicated for collecting, managing, preserving, researching, studying and educating the data relevant.
By using the understanding and experiencing Taekwondo as a pivot, the museum helps to understand and experience Taekwondo's past and present, and promotes deep understanding through Taekwondo history exhibition. In this presentation, it will be explained that Taekwondo contributes to the spread of Taekwondo’s value by acquiring the historical data related to Taekwondo and the necessity of relics, and by studying and conveying in depth contents of the role spirit of Taekwondo as a country where Taekwondo is originated. Through this this presentation would like to introduce Taekwondowon and the National Taekwondo Museum, where the space that Taekwondo people have dreamed about.
