2017년 지구생태용량초과의 날은 8월 2일입니다. 이날, 우리는 지구에서 일년 동안 재생할 수 있는 자원보다 더 많은 자원을 사용했습니다. 우리는 함께 전세계적 문제를 해결하고 새로운 방향을 찾아야 합니다. 박물관들은 인식을 증진하고, 사실과 역사적 관점을 제공하며, 기회를 알려주고, 조치를 촉진하는 데 믿을 수 없을 정도로 중요한 역할을 합니다. 국립세계문화박물관은 모든 대륙에서 수 천년 동안 만들어진 특별한 소장품을 간직하고 있습니다. 이와 같은 소장품에서 우리는 인류의 놀라운 창의성과 치명적 실수를 배울 수 있습니다.
Dead End or Time for a New Direction?
Earth Overshoot Day 2017 takes place August 2. On this date we have used more resources than our planet can renew in a year. Together, we must tackle global challenges and find new directions. Museums have an incredibly important role to play in creating awareness, providing facts and historical perspectives, pointing out opportunities and encouraging action. The National Museums of World Culture consist of unique collections from thousands of years across all continents. From these we can learn from humanity's amazing creativity and its fatal mistakes.
