싱가폴 전문 박물관: 페라나칸 박물관(The Peranakan Museum)
페라나칸 박물관(TPM)은 과거 해협 식민지 페낭, 멜라카, 싱가폴에 거주했던 중국인들을 포함해서 동남아시아의 다문화 공동체의 유산 및 물리적 문화를 특징으로 합니다. 싱가폴의 소규모 전문 박물관으로서 페라나칸 박물관은 박물관의 특성 및 관람객들, 전략적 협력업체들과 협력하는 능력의 측면에서 주어진 임무를 충실히 수행하고 있습니다. 본 발표는 페라나칸 박물관이 페라나칸 문화에 대한 관심을 유지하고, 새로운 관람객을 유도하기 위해 채택한 혁신적인 디지털 및 오프라인 전략을 간략하게 설명합니다.
Specialist Museums in Singapore: The Peranakan Museum
The Peranakan Museum (TPM) features the heritage and material culture of hybrid communities in Southeast Asia, including the Straits Chinese in the former Straits Settlements cities of Penang, Melaka and Singapore. As a small, specialist museum in Singapore, TPM pulls above its own weight in terms of its profile, its visitorship and its ability to work with strategic partners. This presentation provides an overview of the innovative strategies - both digital and "off-line" - TPM adopts in engaging new audiences and sustaining interest in Peranakan culture.
