소규모 박물관의 혁신 및 지속 가능성
한 국가의 역사가 시작된 이래로 박물관이 해당 국가의 모형이라는 것은 사실입니다. 한 국가가 국민의 기본적 요구를 충족할 때, 빈곤 국가는 음식과 교육, 기회를 제공하기 위해 고군분투합니다. 이 경우, 박물관에 대한 인식은 낮습니다. 인식을 향상시키기 위해서 공동체 협력을 기반으로 저비용으로 시작할 수 있는 ‘작은 박물관’ 구상을 고려할 수 있습니다. 상향식 접근 방법은 국민들이 혁신을 주도할 수 있는 동기가 됩니다.
예를 들면, 네팔은 개발도상국이며, 120개 이상 종족과 언어가 사용되는 것으로 추정되기 때문에 박물관이 부족합니다. 또한, 네팔은 전국적으로 도로가 발달되어 있지 않으며, 사람들은 박물관을 방문하기 위해 다른 지역으로 이동하기 어렵습니다. 따라서, 작은 박물관 프로젝트는 정부 또는 다른 국가의 지원으로 수립되어야 합니다.
마지막으로, 작은 박물관의 혁신은 더욱 지속가능성이 있으며, 관리가 편리하고, 지역 주민들에게 도움을 줄 수 있기 때문에 개발도상국에서 매우 바람직합니다.
INNOVATION AND SUSTAINABILITY OF SMALL MUSEUMS
It is true note that museum is the replica of a nation since its history. It gets priority when a country reaches in fulfilling basic needs of its citizen, poor countries have been fighting for food, education and opportunities. Their awareness on museum is low. For enhancing awareness would be supported by “small museum” initiatives followed by low cost & community’s cooperation. The bottom up approach definitely motivates to people for its innovation.
For an example, Nepal is a developing country and lacks museum as it is supposed to be within more than 120 casts and languages. Moreover, Nepal lacks road communication in all part of the country and people cannot reach everywhere to visit museums. So that, the small museum project should be established in villages either by government or outsider’s assistance.
Finally, innovation of small museums is very much desired in developing countries. Which would be more sustainable, easy to maintain and caring form local people.
